Having a puppy at home is something that you would be excited at, thinking that you will be adding a new family member. But buying one is not that simple. You need to choose the right dog breed that matches your family, situation and lifestyle.
There are lots of dog breed that you can choose from. So, you can base it depending on your family, lifestyle and situation, in order to end up happy with the dog breed that you choose. Yes, puppies seem to be all the same since they are all small but you can see the difference as they grow old.

If you are an active type of person and need a dog that can keep up with your daily activities, Siberian Husky, Border Collie, or German Shorthaired Pointer. If you are a fairly athletic type of person, Jack Russell Terrier or Labrador Retriever would be a great choice.
If you are a couch potato type of person, English Bulldog or Beagle could be a great choice.
If you have kids, size is not the right factor to consider. It doesn’t mean that the dog is small in size, it is already perfect for your children. You must check on the behavior of the dog breeds. You have to get ones that have loving approach such as Golden Retriever, Miniature Poodle, Cocker Spaniel, Labrador Retriever, or English Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
